The municipality of Santana annually hosts the Trout Festival and the Cider Route, an event which takes place simultaneously with the Cultural Groups Meeting of this Municipality. This event is a great opportunity to promote two gastronomic elements which are not yet widely known by tourists visiting Madeira. Therefore, over the 3 days of the festival, everyone will be able to visit the Ribeiro Frio aquaculture station and participate in trout fishing competitions, amongst other activities.
